Débora & Marin met at the CNAC (French National Circus Arts Center) during their training. In 2023, they founded Cirque Immersif to bring their first public-space creation, How Much We Carry?, to life, while exploring a new apparatus : the acrobatic pole. Based in Marseille, the company champions strong local roots and close relationships both with cultural institutions and with the city’s inhabitants. Accessibility and encounter are central to their artistic approach. This first creation was conceived with a very light technical setup, allowing the work to reach a wide range of audiences and to open up new spaces for performance.
Débora Fransolin is Brazilian and trained at CNAC as well as at the Brazilian Circus School, specializing in aerial silks while also developing her practice of Chinese pole. After graduating, she joined several projects as a performer, including work with Compagnie Scom, Bivouac, and No Panication. She is currently co-creating the piece Travessia, developed between France and Brazil, and performs in LUZ by Georgia Tavares. Her artistic research is nourished by a wide range of physical practices, including Balinese theatre and Krump.
MARIN GARNIER trained at CNAC in acrobatic partnering. He then joined Cirque Exalté for the 2022 creation Foutoir Céleste, while simultaneously co-leading the site-specific circus walking project L’envers d’un monde, developed in natural environments. Passionate about acoustic music and electronic music production, and trained as a percussionist, he co-composed the music for À trois on y va by Compagnie Les Canardes Boiteuses. His artistic path is also enriched by improvised singing practices, notably through Chant pour tous and with the Brazilian group Música do Círculo.
